George Kohlrieser is a Distinguished Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at the Institute of Management Development (IMD) Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is the creator and director of IMD’s High Performance Leadership Program and the Advanced High Performance Leadership Program. He is also known worldwide for his keynotes and workshops on such topics as high performance leadership, conflict management, dialogue and negotiation, coaching, stress management, and personal and professional development. George is a best-selling, award-winning author of two books (Hostage at the Table and Care to Dare), a veteran hostage negotiator, an organizational and clinical psychologist, and a media spokesperson. He has been a workshop leader at Esalen since 1979.
