Toni Cupal

In 2011, Toni Cupal first experienced the depth of Mukund Subramanian’s work and realized the importance of helping him pass on the tradition of Ninniku Okyū. Toni began studying Ninniku Okyū in the traditional apprenticeship system with Mukund in the fall of 2012. In 2016, he gave her the blessing to begin practicing the work with clients. That same year, they co-founded the nonprofit Healing Cultures, Inc to help the community build and sustain their health and well-being and create a platform to teach Okyū.

Toni became a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher in 2009. It was her desire to support students more deeply that sparked her deep interest in healing modalities. Toni’s yoga classes are now a fusion of her training in both yoga and intuitive healing. She enjoys weaving these elements together to create an authentic experience of body, breath, and energy for each person in the room. Toni is deeply grateful for each opportunity to support others in their healing journey either through yoga classes or Okyū treatments.

Toni Cupal began teaching yoga in 2009 and intensively studying intuitive healing since 2012. Toni enjoys weaving elements of healing into her yoga classes to create an authentic experience of body, breath, and energy for each person in the room.
