Imagine if — whatever challenges life may present to you — the one thing you could count on is your own mind always being kind to you. That is your birthright, and now is the time to claim it! This weekend, immerse yourself in this mindfulness-based approach to self love and compassion.

Mindfulness meditation and other contemplative practices have entered all spheres of our society including but not limited to corporate settings, sport performance, medicine, and psychology. Science has confirmed the health benefits in immunity, brain architecture, pain management, and mental and physical resilience that has been part of an ancient system of mental and physical training through meditation practice.

You will participate in guided exercises geared to bring your body, mind, and soul into a self-nourishing whole person, and strengthen your ability to give love to others by first loving yourself.

During our time, you will…

  • Learn mindfulness meditation practice.
  • Take the time to experience your own loving attention all weekend.
  • Learn to take back the controls of your body/mind and create a more peaceful you.
  • Explore the breath.

Join us for an exploration of meditative practices designed to nourish your whole self and increase your capacity to give and receive love and care.

Summer Groovers will experience Esalen in a format similar to our Self Guided Explorations workshops. Each Summer Groove week or weekend will open and close with a circle, and be filled with festive, nostalgic activities that harken back to those days of yore.
