??? What's this? I fail to see any reason given. It's an OSM derivate under the same licence. Of course  Speedy keep Grüße vom Sänger ♫ (talk) 10:25, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
 I withdraw my nomination, sorry.   — 🇺🇦Jeff G. please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 11:33, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Will you remove the ugly red boxes please asap? Grüße vom Sänger ♫ (talk) 11:36, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  • MFF-maps are released under Creative Commons CC0. --> Speedy Keep. Rp. (talk) 11:48, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

    "The vision of Maps-For-Free is to offer free worldwide relief maps and other layers which can easily be integrated into existing map projects. MFF-maps are released under Creative Commons CC0. You are free to adapt and use the relief maps and relief layer for commercial purposes without attributing the original author or source. Although not required, a link to maps-for-free.com is appreciated."
    ... Admittedly, I find it a bit strange that these maps are published under CC0, although neither the old nor the current OSM license is CC0. But that is not our problem, but that of the map provider. --Smial (talk) 11:54, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's the relief maps and relief layer which are CC0 because these are made by MFF (public domain data by the US). OSM isn't CCO as indicated in the lower right corner. NNW 12:00, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In the meantime I find the most different license information under the pictures, which in my opinion are predominantly not applicable. GFDL for example is complete nonsense. --Smial (talk) 12:29, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Years ago MFF started with GFDL (see outdated de:Wikipedia:Kartenwerkstatt/Hilfe/Quellen) I don't know when this was changed. NNW 12:41, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
 Keep As the other replies. Just click on the "?" on the left yand you will see the CC0. Regards GF38storic (talk) 12:41, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Jeff G. already withdrew [1]. NNW 12:44, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yep, but nothing further happened, the ugly red boxes are still on all file pages. Grüße vom Sänger ♫ (talk) 12:49, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Perhaps he is working right now. Let's give him some time to remove the boxes. NNW 12:51, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just in case, I have made a request to admins to see if someone is able to solve the problem easily. I agree that it should be the proponent's job but if someone else does it before it's for the best. --GrandEscogriffe (talk) 16:17, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Withdrawn by nominator Jeff G.. It's requested that they remove the nomination template on each file's page. (non-admin) XAM2175 (T) 14:29, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
