Summary[edit]
DescriptionHygrocybe virescens.jpg |
English: The mushroom species Hygrocybe virescens (Hesler & A.H. Sm.) Montoya & Bandala. Photographed in Samuel P Taylor State Park, Marin Co. California, USA. Notes: "Many of these were larger than what is described in the literature. The caps were up to 6.7 cm broad and the stipes were up to 12.5 cm long. Coincidently, this rather rare species also showed up at the SOMA Camp yesterday, found by Nathan Wilson but I don’t know from what location." |
