Join us to experience rejuvenation and renewal! You need and deserve this.  So many of us are overtaxed by constant demands, burdens, and worries, especially those of us providing extra support for others through caregiving or healthcare and other service-oriented jobs.

We bring you expertise in the science, art, and practice of rejuvenation from stress.

  • Learn and practice the practical and cutting-edge science of stress resilience.
  • We will guide you into a state of deep rest through meditation, yoga Nidra, and restorative yoga.
  • You will learn skills to use all of your senses to reconnect with your body and increase aliveness and vitality.

Elissa will be joined by Guest Faculty Members Alexandra Crosswell and Nichol Chase:

Alexandra Crosswell, PhD, is a national stress and well-being expert. She combines her training as a psychological scientist and interfaith spiritual companion, with her experience as a mother of three, to support others in navigating the intense demands of modern life.

Nichol’s yoga practice is informed by a vast and eclectic set of influences that blend invigorating flow with precise and insightful instruction and extensive study with a variety of innovative teachers. She is a Garrison Institute Fellow and a faculty member and teacher trainer for The Mazé Method.

Immersed in the beauty of nature at Esalen, our work will be well supported. We will learn and practice new ways to restore ourselves, and develop our own toolbox of short daily practices that support us in daily recovery and renewal.
