Andrea Lieberstein, MPH, RDN, IMTA CMT-P, RYT, is founder of the Mindful Eating Training Institute and the bestselling author of Well Nourished: Mindful Practices to Heal Your Relationship with Food, Feed Your Whole Self, and End Overeating, named one of the “Best Mindfulness Books in 2020” by Mindful magazine.
She is a mindful eating expert, a certified ecotherapist, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, an internationally recognized mindfulness teacher trainer, a mindfulness-based registered dietitian nutritionist, a dedicated Dharma Practitioner, and a champion for leading a well-nourished life. She leads evidence-based mindful eating and Well Nourished™ trainings and retreats internationally for both professionals and the general public and offers professional certification programs in Well Nourished Coaching™ and Mindful Eating.
In her private practice, Andrea works with individuals who want more peace, balance, and joy in their relationship with food, body image, and stress-related issues and health concerns and those who simply want to bring their lives back into balance and vibrancy through mindful eating and living. She spearheaded Mind Body programs at Kaiser Permanente centers for many years and has degrees from Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
Andrea’s greatest passions and joys are studying, practicing, and sharing the Dharma and the life-transforming practices of mindfulness, meditation, compassion, mindful eating, and yoga; nature-based awareness practices; and “Well Nourished” healthy lifestyles with others. Andrea has completed a Dharma Leadership program and is currently completing her training as a Buddhist Eco-Chaplain. She is inspired daily by her yoga and meditation practices and the healing power of nature.
